I am so excited to start a series on this blog, and this will be to give directions to popular places in Lagos State.
I will kick off with the NATIONAL STADIUM Surulere.
Today's route is Ikeja--Surulere
Our Start off point in Ikeja is Ikeja City mall(Shoprite) because it is a popular spot.
Our end point in Surulere is the National Stadium Surulere.

I will kick off with the NATIONAL STADIUM Surulere.
Brief History:
"The Lagos National Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Surulere, Lagos State, Nigeria, which comprises an Olympic-size swimming arena and a multipurpose arena used for basketball, volleyball, table tennis, wrestling and boxing matches. It was used mostly for football matches until 2001. It hosted several international competitions including the 1980 African Cup of Nations final, the 2000 African Cup of Nations final, and FIFA World Cup qualifying matches. - From the bus-stop at the entrance to the mall, Take a bus going to Yaba/Palm-grove/Onipan.
- Alight at Fadeyi bus-stop.
- You can decide to take the BRT bus from here(which is cheaper😜), The BRT bus is headed to Tafawa balewa Square(TBS) or take our own bus popularly called "Danfo" heading to Costain.
- Alight at Stadium bus-stop
- If u took the BRT bus, the stadium bus-stop is directly in front of The National Stadium.
- But if it is Danfo, depending on where the bus stops you, You walk either back from the traffic light or towards the traffic light. The National Stadium is directly in front of the Traffic light.
